Modules We Review

We review selected engine and powertrain computers, body control modules, transmission controllers, instrument panels and other electronic controllers. Examples include Smart Fortwo SAM modules, Corvette PCM and BCM applications, selected BMW DMEs, Nissan and Infiniti ECMs and BCMs, and Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram modules, including ProMaster applications.

Compatibility is determined by the complete module identity and its hardware, software and security version. A vehicle name, similar housing or partial part number does not establish that a donor will work. Full-size ProMaster and ProMaster City modules are reviewed separately.

How the Service Works

We confirm the transfer approach, donor requirements, price and required components before you ship or drop off.

[STEP 3]

We assess the original data, perform the approved transfer and document the checks completed.

[STEP 4]

Install the module and complete any vehicle-side setup or verification identified in the return report.

When the Original Module Will Not Communicate

A module that will not communicate through a scan tool may still contain recoverable memory. We can review it for direct data access. Burned processors, corrosion, missing data or protected hardware can prevent a complete transfer. Send photos and describe any previous opening, repair or programming attempts.

What You Receive

Your service report identifies the modules, work performed, checks completed and any remaining installation requirements. The available checks depend on the module and agreed scope. A memory transfer or bench communication test does not reproduce every installed vehicle function.



Instrument-panel work preserves the vehicle’s documented original mileage and configuration. We confirm the service and replacement before accepting the job.
